Rotoforged is a process where 6061 Alloy is forced under extreme pressure to forge a blank billet wheel in various sizes producing superior mechanical properties. They are then heat treated, ready to be CNC machined into the design of your choice. Then fitted with billet hubs complete with bearings, seals and internal spacer.

Heelift® Smooth Suspension Boot

The Heelift SMOOTH Suspension Boot is designed to provide a most effective solution for prevention and assistive healing of pressure ulcers at the heel, while delivering positioning and alignment of the lower limb. By using an inbuilt wedge of soft, firm medical grade foam the heel is ensured a no contact area while giving good support over the calf. The Heelift fits comfortably onto the foot and is secured with Velcro® straps. The base of the Heelift is made up of a tricot low shear/friction surface which allows the boot to slide easily over the mattress surface. This reduces friction and shear, and ensures the Heelift stays in place at all times. The Heelift comes with an extra foam piece which can be fitted to prevent footdrop or prevent hip rotation. Foam can be cut to accommodate Achilles tendon erythema.

Heelift® Traction Boot

For stabilising pre-surgical fractures. Heelift Traction Boot provides an inventive method of applying skin traction to help stabilize femur fractures prior to surgery. With up to 4.5 kgs (10 pounds) straight skin traction for fracture pain relief, latex free Heelift Traction Boot helps prevent heel and malleolar ulcers and avert peroneal nerve pressure pressure injury at the fibular head, as well as providing forefoot support to avoind heel cord contracture. Once traction is no longer required, by simply removing the side traction straps, traction bar and rope, the traction boot converts to a Heelift SMOOTH Suspension boot! The smooth boot eliminates heel pressure; the Heelift Traction Boot delivers both pre- and post-surgery protection to the heel for fractures to the femur.

Elbowlift® Suspension Pad

Protecting the sensitive olecranon and olecranon bursa from friction burns and contrusions can be a challenge. Elbowlift Suspension Pad offers a latex free, effective solution. Elbowlift cushions and elevates the elbow to minimise surface contact. Protects against olecranon bursitis, ulnar neuritis, pressure pain and ulcers, and skin injury.

Roho Heal Pad® Cushion

The HEAL PAD offers an adjustable therapeutic environment which aids in the healing of heel and elbow ischemic ulcers. Next to the pelvis area, the heels are statistically the part of the body most likely to be in danger of skin breakdown. Made from soft, latex free neoprene the HEALPAD is extremely durable. It is an excellent product for equipment pools.

Prodigy Mattress Overlay ®

The PRODIGY Mattress System has been designed to address the needs of the clinician care giver and the compromised patient by providing an environment in which the patient can comfortably lie or sit for long periods of time without the fear of compromised blood flow and the resulting effect of tissue damage/breakdown. This non powered mattress overlay was designed for patients at risk of breakdown and/or have a stage I or II ischemic ulcer. A multi zoned, adjustable mattress system the PRODIGY mattress overlay features interconnected air filled cells that are easy to inflate, set up and adjust and therefore easy to use in any care setting.The PRODIGY Mattress System offers protection, comfort and flexibility beyond all other products in it's class.

Sofflex® Mattress Overlay

The SOFTLEX Mattress System has been designed to address the needs of the clinician care giver and the compromised patient by providing an environment in which the patient can comfortably lie or sit for long periods of time without the fear of compromised blood flow and the resulting effect of tissue damage/breakdown. The SOFTLEX Mattress System achieves this by providing a system which conforms to the patients body without deforming the vascular bed. This is achieved through a multi zoned design where each section/zone can be adjusted to the patients needs, and an environment created which facilitates the healing of ischemic ulcers.

Levelling Pad

The levelling pad is made of a high quality, therapeutic foam, which is hypoallergenic, anti-microbial and anti-bacterial. The foam is fire retardant. This foam is covered with a water proof anti bacterial, anti microbial and low friction nylon cover. Combined with a ROHO mattress section, the levelling pad delivers full protection to the pelvis area.

Foam Insert

The Insert Pad is made of a high quality, therapeutic foam, which is hypoallergenic, anti-microbial and anti-bacterial. The foam is fire retardant. Over the foam is a cover made of a thin, fitted, low friction nylon which is also anti-microbial and anti-bacterial. The covering is waterproof, yet vapour permeable. Foam insert pads interface with the ROHO Mattress section by clipping together. This allows for cost effective use of foam and ROHO to provide the ultimate in pressure care.

Reusable Mattress Cover

Sized 36" x 80" x 8 1/2", the reusable cover fits over a standard single bed mattress, as well as the ROHO® DRY FLOATATION® Mattress System, the SOFFLEX® Mattress System or the PRODIGY Mattress Overlay®. Available to fit Bariatric sizes as well.

Roho® Dry Floatation® Isolette

Thr ROHO ISOLETTE Mattress System is designed to provide protection for infants who are at high risk for ischemic ulcer development. The 2" high air filled cells conform to the infants shape provifing a low pressure, low shear/friction total contact area ideal for the at risk infant. In addition, the ISOLETTE® Mattress System has been used post operatively to enhance profusion. The ISOLETTE is a non powered, adjustable overlay so it can be used in any standard hospital or home isolette.

Roho® Dry Floatation® Bariatric Kit

The ROHO DRY FLOATATION Mattress System has been designed to address the needs of the clinician care giver and the compromised patient by providing an environment in which the patient can comfortably lie or sit for long periods of time without the fear of compromised blood flow and the resulting effect of tissue damage/breakdown. The ROHO Mattress System achieves this by exposing the patient to compression therapy which addresses edema associted with chronic wounds and flaps, and by providing a system which conforms to the patients body without deforming the vascular bed. The ROHO DRY FLOATATION Mattress system is the ORIGINAL non-powered, adjustable, zoned, advanced pressure-relieving mattress overlay.

Water Proof/Heavy Duty Cover

Water-proof cover protects cushion from foriegn objects, odor and moisture build-up. Two way stretch material allows for proper immersion into the cushion and "breathes" for added comfort. Easy to clean. Anti-microbial. Moisture vapor permeable.

Non-Skid Cover

Two way stretch top enables the cushion cells to conform to the individual's body shape without diminishing product effectiveness or therapeutic value. A non-skid bottom secures the cushion in the chair. Reinforced side panels protect the cushion from lateral contact. Standard with all HIGH PROFILE®, LOW PROFILE®, QUADTRO®, LOW PROFILE QUADTRO®, ENHANCER®, nexus®, Custom Recliner System, PACK-IT®, custom and special cushions. Covers can also be custom made.

Contour Base

The lightweight, molded base provides a solid foundation for sling seat wheelchairs. Easily fits under the cushion inside the ROHO® cushion cover.

Solid Seat Insert

The ROHO® Planar Solid Seat Insert provides a solid base for use with ROHO cushioning products. Made of a polyurethane coated birch plywood, the 3/8" (1cm) insert easily fits under the cushion, inside the ROHO cushion cover.

The Natural-Fit Handrim

The average active wheelchair user can push on their handrims at least 2500 times a day! That is a lot of wear and tear on hands, especially when pushing on the tire. Introducing the Natural-Fit, the unique ergonomic handrim designed to comfortably fit the contours of the hand and maximize the power of every push. The patented Natural-Fit handrim will give a more efficient push and will help to reduce the stress on wrists, arms, and shoulders. And because there is no need to push on the tire it is more hygienic! Using Natural-Fit handrims does not require new wheels, they will fit onto the existing wheels.

Repairs

Repairs are carried out by Wicked Wheelchairs under strict quality control. If a cushion is under five years old the repair carries a 3 month warranty. When repairs are carried out the cushion is over inflated and left for three days to ensure the repair has been successful. ROHO cushions are extremely durable, and last on average 5 to 7 years, although we see cushions being used that are 7 to 25 years (good foam cushions last approximately 2 years maximum). With repairs a cushion's life span can be extended to way beyond the average.
